BRAWO® Magnavity now also in the Southwest at Abwassertechnik Kapp

Abwassertechnik-Kapp, the South German expert for pipe and sewer rehabilitation, relies on the new BRAWO® Magnavity light curing technology and is investing in a new facility from BRAWO® SYSTEMS. The company is thereby adding light to the curing methods used so far and will be able to react even more flexibly in future to the most diverse deployment scenarios locally and make faster curing possible.

Abwassertechnik-Kapp, based in Dürbheim, is one of the first German master enterprises for pipeline and sewer service. By means of professional competence, state-of-the-art technology, and a level of employee knowledge that is always up to date, even the most difficult challenges on the different construction sites are overcome.

In order to expand its range of products even further, the company continues to rely on innovation: the new BRAWO® Magnavity light curing technology from the system provider, BRAWO® SYSTEMS. The system consists of an intelligent LED head with 96 high-performance UV LEDs, a 50m long combination hose with integrated power and compressed air supply, a retraction unit, and a control box. Thanks to the modular construction, compact design and low weight of the system, easy transport of the system is guaranteed even under the most difficult access conditions, e.g. on plots of land and in buildings.

The innovative LED head allows simultaneous retraction with inversion of the liner. Curing is thus carried out immediately after installation of the liner – without the need for additional insertion of the eel. As a result, only one access point is needed for the rehabilitation of a 50m long segment – even with several bends. In many cases, this is the only way to make rehabilitation possible at all: no additional access opening (e.g. inspection opening, shaft) is necessary, which cannot be created easily or only with considerable effort in most construction measures.

The combination of BRAWO® Magnavity and BRAWOLINER® is ideally suited to the difficult construction sites of property drainage: the BRAWOLINER® can be used together with the light-curing unit, and no additional liners have to be kept on hand. This means that the outstanding properties of the BRAWOLINER®, such as its extreme bend flexibility, can also be utilised.

The decision in favour of the BRAWO® Magnavity was never in doubt for Friedbert Kapp, owner of Abwassertechnik Kapp: “My son Dominic from Abwassertechnik Kapp in Felm, in the north of Germany, already bought a BRAWO Magnavity from BRAWO® SYSTEMS. He is enthusiastic about the possible applications of the system and, thanks to it, can respond even more flexibly to the different conditions and requirements of the customers on the construction site. Because we are innovative, too, and always want to offer our customers a better and faster service, we have also opted for this new technology!”
