The system provider BRAWO® SYSTEMS has successfully completed the test programme specified by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) and has thus received approval for the combination of BRAWOLINER® 3D and the epoxy resin BRAWO® UVPox for rehabilitation with UV and LED light in diameters DN 100 to 225.
The German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) issues around 3,000 national technical approvals for construction products and types of construction each year. As part of the DIBt approval for the rehabilitation of defective underground wastewater pipes with LED and UV light curing (Z-42.3-566), an extensive test programme was successfully completed. Within the scope of the test programme, among other things, watertightness, resistance to high-pressure flushing, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and environmental compatibility were tested and successfully verified. The demanding DIBt certification distinguishes the suitability for the rehabilitation work and ensures consistently high quality by means of regular inspections.

The BRAWOLINER® 3D is a seamless textile hose with an equally seamless film coating.. Due to a special loop construction, the BRAWOLINER® 3D is extremely flexible and adapts optimally and almost crease-free to the course of the pipe, even in bends of up to 90° and where there are dimensional changes. When BRAWO® UVPox is used, there is no penetration of water behind after rehabilitation.
BRAWO® UVPox is the first pigmented light-curing epoxy resin optimised for use with the BRAWOLINER® 3D and has the following material properties:
- Positive fit in the old pipe without penetration of water behind
- Very good mechanical properties and high abrasion resistance
- High installation reliability due to very long processing time
- Optical control due to coloured resin as well as styrene-free and low odour
- Targeted, fast curing
- Durability of 50 years according to generally accepted rules of technology
